Props Artisan

As someone who had recreationally painted and crafted on their own time, just figuring things out, learning scenic painting from Tim Mann, puppets with Rachel Healy and props with Jillian Gryzlak was a delight. Part "figure it out" and part "you know, like this" with a little gesture.

My experience and education expanded at Peninsula Players Theatre in the summer of 2024, working under the incredible Madelaine Foster and alongside Bonnie Rubel.

Indy Shakes
Interning with Laura Glover was my first time working as an electrician for the run of a show, The experience setting up and tearing down about 70% of the lights each night gave me the opportunity to learn how to most efficiently execute my work in moments alone and with a team.

As a part of changeovers, I got to put on my electrician hat and get back in my groove. As an electrician, it was my first time working with a fly system, and I was consistently first pick for ladder and genie work.

Stitcher

Working under Austin Pettinger, Beth Uber, and Theresa Ham, I've found myself challenged and nurtured in a variety of ways. When I told Beth I loved seam ripping, she took that to heart and gave me Stepmother's blouse to construct for Into the Woods. I redid those sleeves 3 times, and I don't know if sleeves got any easier.
My love for crafting had certainly been noted and I was given many projects to help on for the Mycelium in Somewhere. And our designer for Into the Woods, Rachel Healy entrusted my eye with the last-minute placement and assembly of Milky White's puppeteer's cardigan.
